Meet the Founder
Dana Burkholder
Dana was a California Volleyball Club Owner, Club Director, and Club Coach for over 10 years. In 2014, Dana co-founded and co-owned FORZA1 Volleyball Club which grew to 100+ teams in its first 5 years. While at FORZA1, Dana coached the #1 ranked team in SCVA, 18s Division in 2019, which also finished 5th in Open at USAV. As well as the #2 ranked team in SCVA, 18s Division in 2018. Dana has had countless top 10 SCVA ranked teams ages 11-18 since 2008.
Dana is currently the Director of Athlete Wellness and their Director of Coach Success at Colorado Elite Volleyball Club. In 2026-2027 , Dana will coach the 14-1 at Co Elite and lead the Fall Training for all 14 and under players. In 2025-2026, Dana coached the 17-1 at Co Elite to a #4 finish in 17s RMR and a 13th place at USA Nationals in the American Division. In 2024-2025, Dana was the Head of Club Volleyball at NORCO in Ft. Collins, Colorado and coached the 18-1s to a #2 finish in RMR.
Additional experience: international and USAV volleyball player, 2x 1st team All-American '00, '01, Pac-12 Player of the Year '00, Junior National Champion with Kern River Volleyball Club in '97. For more click here.
